In IE6, IE7, and Firefox 2 (Windows) a jScrollPane adds a rather significant margin to the RIGHT of the scrollbar. After a few hours of attempts at changing the CSS, HTML, etc, the only solutions that worked was to change the following line in jScrollPane from this:
var paneWidth = $this.innerWidth();
to this:
var paneWidth = $this.innerWidth() + 50;
I would like to have a clean jScrollPane.js file to make future updates easier, so I'm wondering if you know what might be going on and if you know of a fix somewhere that I missed. Thanks much for a great plugin.

Sorry for the slow reply - I've been on holiday...
Do you have an example page showing this problem? On all of my examples and on other implementations of jScrollPane I haven't seen this problem. Can you let me know what version of jQuery and the dimensions plugin you are using? I haven't yet tested the scrollpane with the latest version of jQuery so maybe this is related?

I got exactly the same problem - I discovered that jScrollPane is creating the jScrollPaneContainer too narrow exactly by the width of the normal system scrollbar
I managed to fix this by changing innerWidth to outerWidth in your script
If you want I can try to put this example online.
Using: jquery-1.2.2.min.js and jquery.dimensions.min - 1.2

now I'm positive that is is the issue with the latest dimenios plugin, with version: 1.1.2 I dont get this problem

I encountered the same problem (except the result in FF and IE6 was different).
After checking out some things I think I found the culprit. After changing "overflow: auto" into "overflow: hidden", it rendered perfect since the dimensions don't get changed by the OS scrollbar anymore.

Changing the CSS of the element from "overflow: auto" to "overflow: hidden" works with making the scrollPane size itself properly, however, it then doesn't degrade gracefully. To fix this, just keep it as "overflow: auto" in the CSS and change it to hidden in the code. On line 62 (v1.12), change:
var $this = jQuery(this);to:
var $this = jQuery(this);// Switch the element's overflow to hidden to ensure we get the size of the element without the scrollbars
$this.css('overflow', 'hidden');

I also have a problem with iframe, plugin set width and height in 0 and CSS and parameters for initialization didnt help me, is there sample of code for this plugin with iframe?
